A Duck Catches a Fish for Its Kitten Friend
A duck goes fishing, and the fish isn't for the duck. It's for a kitten, the duck's best friend. That's the whole clip, about ten seconds from start to finish, and it's an easy one to pause and talk about.
What kids can learn
Ducks are built for water. They paddle with webbed feet and can grab food from the pond. Kittens mostly stay dry if they can help it. So the duck uses what it's good at to help a friend who can't do it alone.
That's a nice idea for kids to hold on to. Everyone is good at something, and sharing that skill is one of the simplest ways to be kind. Maybe your child is great at drawing, or building, or finding lost socks. Those can all be ways to help someone.
Talk about it: Why did the duck catch the fish instead of the kitten? What's something you're good at that could help a friend?
