Our promise to parents

We make videos we'd be happy to show our own kids. Here is what that means in practice.

What you'll find

  • Short videos, most under two minutes, so a child can watch one and move on.
  • A clear lesson in every story: kindness, honesty, sharing, patience, staying safe.
  • Humor that doesn't put anyone down. No bullying, no rude jokes, no dangerous stunts.
  • Safety topics told calmly. We want kids to feel confident, not frightened.

What you won't find

  • Jump scares, gore or horror made to shock children.
  • Ads, pop-ups, sign-ups or tracking on this website.
  • Requests for a child's name, photo or address.

Watching together

Our videos work best with a grown-up nearby. Each video page has a Talk about it question you can ask afterwards. Our articles for parents have more ideas, like how to turn a one-minute story into a real conversation.

Older uploads

Our channel used to be called TaleThistle and a few early uploads were aimed at older viewers. Those aren't listed on this website. If you spot something on our YouTube channel that doesn't feel right for young kids, please tell us at plycoder@gmail.com.
